Ms. Slawson holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Entrepreneurship from the University of Hawaii, Shidler College of Business as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems from San Francisco State University. She is responsible for sales and marketing for the company as well as project management on key large scale commercial projects. She is also responsible for project budgeting and strategic planning. Prior to starting OceanHead Solar & Electric, Gail co-owned and managed a real estate renovation and investment company for 10 years. She also held various management positions in the information technology field for over 20 year, including a Chief Information Officer position for a software development company. She brings her business, technical, personable and leadership skills to the business for a focus on customer service.
Michelle Eich, MS Co-Owner and Director of Operations
Ms. Eich holds a Master of Science (MS) in Physical Oceanography from the University of Hawaii, School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology (SOEST), as well as a Bachelor of Arts in International Communications from Pepperdine University. She is responsible for the day to day operations of the company with a focus on technical design and project management. She also oversees project costing, contract review, legal, and compliance. Prior to starting OceanHead Solar & Electric, Michelle was the Managing Partner of a real estate renovation and investment company, for over 10 years, where she directed all aspects of buying/selling/renovating real estate, managed the companies’ rental properties, managed contractors, and oversaw investor relations. Prior to that, Ms. Eich held a paralegal position with prominent San Francisco and Los Angeles law firms. Michelle brings her analytical, technical, legal, management and organizational skills, along with her can-do attitude, to the business to ensure sound solutions and quality workmanship.

Unitek Solvent Services - 170KW Photovoltaic (PV) Roof Mounted System
Location: Campbel Industrial Park, Oahu
Dates: Sept - Dec 2014
Scope of Work: Installation of 610 PV panels and all racking, mounting, grounding, and stringing components on two metal roof-top industrial buildings. Operated 42’ Fork Lift to transport PV panels to roof. Operated scissor lift to transport workers to roof. Five (5) SMA Tri-Power string inverters were used in conjunction with this system installation.
Landscape Hawaii - 53KW Photovoltaic Roof Mounted System
Location: Near Airport, Off of Lagoon Drive, Oahu
Dates: April - May 2015
Scope of Work: Performed all electrical work for the installation of 3 PV systems totaling 53 KW. Installation and wiring of 9 SMA string inverters, 2 sub panels, 3 disconnect switches, junction boxes, combiner boxes, and hundreds of feet of metal EMT conduit and wiring. Performed all PV panel grounding and stringing, along with daisy chaining data cable between inverters and data communication box.
Nixon Project - 11.2 KW Photovoltaic Roof Mounted System
Location: Waikele/Waipahu, Oahu
Dates: Feb 2015
Scope of Work: Designed, procured and installed all mechanical and electrical components for a 40 PV panel, 11.2 KW system on an asphalt shingle residential roof top. 40 Enphase micro inverters were installed. Also involved trenching, masonry work, service upgrade, meter relocation, and computer data monitoring system configuration.
Macaraeg Project - 5.6 KW Photovoltaic Roof Mounted System

Scope of Work: Designed, procured and installed all mechanical and electrical components for an 18 PV panel, 5.02 KW system on a spanish tile residential roof top. Installation, wiring and configuration of an SMA string inverter and data cable to client’s router. Also involved cutting roof tiles, and computer data monitoring system configuration.
